Walter P. Labuda

Walter P Labuda, known as Wally to his friends and family, passed away at age 72 on October 23rd, 2024.

He was a loving father, brother and uncle to his son Ryan, brothers Bob and the late Bill and nieces/nephews Christy, Heather, Lisa, Michael & Rob. Wally was the son of the late Walter & Charlotte who was affectionately known as Lotte.

He graduated from Thornton Township HS, served honorably in the Army National Guard, and worked many jobs over the course of his life. An avid golfer in his younger days and crossword puzzle enthusiast later in life. Wally was known by friends and family as a good man who enjoyed life to the fullest and lived in the moment.

A memorial service will be held at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood on Wed October 30 from 5pm to 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Heart Association.
