Virginia R. Wright

Virginia Ross Wright, 85, passed away on August 26th, 2021 at Primrose Retirement Community, Decatur, Illinois. Virginia was born February 22nd, 1936 to Glenn and Esther (Dining) Ross in Charleston, Illinois. She was a long time resident of Homewood and Crete, Illinois. Virginia earned degrees from Eastern Illinois University, Governors State University and Nova University. She taught business at Prairie State College from 1970-1995. In addition, she taught at numerous south suburban area high schools. Volunteer work included the South Suburban Family Shelter. Virginia is survived by cousins Scott W. Carlson of Indianapolis and Jan M. Carlson-Williams of San Jose, California and other cousins. Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Esther Lucille Wright.
