Ursula Lane Brady, age 77, passed away on November 9, 2022. She was the beloved sister of Richard Craig (Christine), Roberta Anne (Tom Dascenzo), William Michael and Margaret Frances (Alan Macey); cherished aunt of Michael Dascenzo, Kathryn (Kevin) Knox and Jessica (Josh-Paul) Cowan; loving great-aunt of Brady, Abbagail, Anna and Joshua; cousin to many and treasured friend to countless others. Lane was born to the late Richard L. and the late Ursula M. Brady on May 3, 1945, in Evergreen Park, IL. A graduate of Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, Lane received her BA degree in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; she went on to earn her Master's Degree in English Literature from Boston University. Never one to avoid a challenge, Lane embarked on a mid-life career change, becoming a highly successful investment broker. With her characteristic joie de vivre, Lane loved art, literature, world travel, hiking and, most of all, her family, cousins and many friends who span the country. Charitable donations in Lane's memory may be made to the Cancer Support Center, 2028 Elm Road, Homewood, IL, 60430, www.cancersupportcenter.org . A celebration of Lane's extraordinary life is being planned for a later date in 2023. For additional information contact tews-ryanfh.com or call 708-798-5300.
