Thomas H. Weaver Jr, Age 92, of Lombard, formally of Homewood and Trenton, New Jersey. He is lovingly remembered and serviced by his wife of 70 years, Christine (Modica) Weaver, his daughters, Denise (John) Infield and Michelle (Bob) Klupchak; his grandchildren Amanda (Will) Duvall, Danny (Kim) Infield, Jordan (Meredith) Infield, Mariana Infield, Zach (Lexie) Klupchak, Kelly Ann Klupchak, Abigail (Tanner) Cline; 6 great grandchildren, with one on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
He was born in Trenton, New Jersey where he met the love of his life Chris Modica. They relocated to Homewood where he pursued his degree from DePaul University and continued his 35 year career as a Senior Systems Analyst. He also served in the Naval Reserves for 12 years and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. Even after retiring from US Steel, he went on to be a Consultant for their engineering department in China, Spain, and Mexico. These endeavors ignited his love for travel. Chris and Tom spent many of those 70 years traveling the world and making lifelong memories. The one thing he loved more than traveling was his family. Tom and Chris never missed an opportunity to celebrate and spend time with their loved ones. From countless birthdays to graduations to weddings and anniversaries, Tom was always capturing those precious moments with his camera around his neck.
Tom will be missed beyond measure, but we will cherish all the time we had with him.
