Sharon Hommer

Sharon Hommer, age 84. Born January 15, 1942 in Chicago, to John and Lillian (Demkowicz) Swick. At rest on August 3, 2026. Loving wife of the late Frank Hommer. Beloved mother to Dawn Hommer and Frank Hommer. Grandma to Zachary Hommer and Matthew Hommer. Great-grandma to Akira. Step-mother to Susan McKinney. Step-grandmother to Shari, Chris, and Brian Moore. Proceeded in death by husband Frank, and parents John and Lillian.

She was very active at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, until she became ill. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Zachary and Matthew, whom she helped raise. She enjoyed watching sports, especially Tennis. She was a kind, funny woman. She will be forever loved, and missed. Until we meet again, we will carry you in our hearts. We love you, mom.
