Scott K. Kane, age 62, resident of Flossmoor, previously of the North side of Chicago, was called to peace on October 17, 2022. Survived and loved by Annie Maas-Kane, wife of 26 years. Dedicated Fur Father of Missouri Mo, and many cats throughout the years.
Loving Son of the late Wilma Kane-Baggio and supported by the late Donald Baggio. Dear Brother of Kevin Kane, Shawn Kane and Karen Jennifer Kane. Cherished Son-in-law of Nancy Maas and the late Paul Maas. Dear Brother-in-law of William J. Maas and partner Tess Sullivan. Remembered by many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. Special Friend to the whole Pignato Family. Adored Brother in heart, spirit and closeness to Caroline Stead.
Scott was a special man who adored his wife and his dog, Missouri Mo. He loved life, family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. He lived life to the fullest. He had an infectious laugh that will forever be instilled in our hearts. Scott was always excited to host Christmas Eve with family. He enjoyed travelling with the Pignato Bike Club on the Mike Rides which were the highlight of his year. He loved spending the summers in the garage/cottage listening to music with friends and neighbors joining him. Scott cultivated many friendships through his 35+ years in the Options Industry. He had a blast meeting friends, co-workers and family at his favorite hangout, Alcock's. Scott touched so many lives on his path through life and he cherished every one of them.
Scott's fight is over and is now enjoying everything he missed in the last two years. Please be comforted that he is now at peace. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Scott Kane to support Dr. Rosenberg's oncology research at the University of Chicago Medicine.
