Ruth C. Gersch

Ruth Caroline Gersch was born to Eugene and Emma Lee on March 24, 1937.

She attended college in Kentucky where she earned her teacher's certificate.

She was a 2nd grade teacher for many years at the Country Club Hills Elementary School.

She had 3 siblings, Barbara Gersch, Delores Gersch and Eugene Gersch who preceded her in death.

Ruth is survived by her Sister-in-law, Beryl Gersch and her nephew Peter Gersch and niece Emalee Doyle-Gersch and nephew  Sean Doyle.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home, 18230 Dixie Highway, Homewood IL. From 9:00 a.m. until the time of service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Beverly Cemetery. For further information, please contact tews-ryanfh.com or call 708-798-5300.
