Robert J. "Bob" Griffin

Robert J. "Bob" Griffin, age 64, a longtime resident of Homewood.  Beloved husband of Christine. Loving father of Teri (Jac) Cornet and Jenie (Carter Hippensteel) Griffin.  Cherished grandfather of Skilar, Jaclyn and Anna. Dear brother-in-law of Kathleen (Cliff) Rafuse and John Malinowski and cousin to Gill Sibley and Ann (Donie) Kelly and many others.  Loving uncle and friend to many. Bob was an avid carpenter but mostly he loved Ireland, the game of Golf and the Blackhawks!  Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 4, from 2 pm until the time of Service at 7 pm at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood.  A Funeral procession will leave the Funeral Home on Saturday at 9:15 am and arrive at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery for a 10 am graveside service.  In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society.  For additional information contact 708-798-5300 or tews-ryanfh.com
