Richard E. Stone

Richard Eldon Stone June 11, 1952 – May 4, 2025. Rick Stone was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Boyd Stone and Marion Opal Miller.

Rick is survived by his wife, Alice Stone (Rodriguez); his daughter, Desiree Schreiber (Tom), and five siblings, Nancy (deceased) Barbara (deceased), Denise, Lori and Ron, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rick moved from Fort Wayne, IN to Richton Park, IL then to Huntsville, AL, where he had a wide array of jobs ranging from auto mechanic to laser printer repair.

Rick moved back to Illinois and married the love of his life, Alice Rodriguez, in 1983. They bought their forever home in Crete, IL where they lived happily ever after.

Rick will be missed by all of his nieces, nephews, family and friends; especially his fur baby and best friend, Jasmine.
