Richard Mattioli

Richard U Mattioli passed peacefully in his sleep on February 12th, 2023. He is survived by his wife Lesley and his five children: David, Abby, Richard, Anthony, Adam.

Born and raised in queens New York with his siblings Joe and Vince, Richard moved to Chicago in 1974 and worked as a MRI tech for over 60 years.

A devout Christian and master of midwestern Italian cooking. He dedicated his life to being a loving father and cooking for friends, family, and for his church. A compassionate and generous man his legacy lives on through his 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

A huge fan of football and the Bears he'll always be lovingly remembered for his Sunday dinners as well as his Sunday antics.

We now commit his soul to the lord to whom he served so diligently. We hope all his friends find solace in their memories and are welcome to join us in his memorial on Saturday March 4th. In lieu of attending please feel free to share you memories and thoughts on this page.
