Perle M. Pollmacher

Perle M. Pollmacher, nee Stolzenbach age 84.  Longtime resident of Homewood.  Beloved wife of Donald Pollmacher.  Loving mother of Kathy (Bob) Clark, Cheryl (James) Revor and Bruce (Nicole) Pollmacher.  Dear grandmother of Katie (Bobby) Petrie, Amanda (Matthew) Sadus, Carolyn (Joe) Stone, Brian (Sami) Revor, Kenna (Chris) Tonn, Claudia Pollmacher and Camm Pollmacher.  Great grandmother of Jessica, Mikayla, Evelyn, Ava, Michael and Ashley. Sister of Alice (Leonard) Vendittii, late Lillian (late Ray) Paape, late Wallace (Jackie) Stolzenbach, late Edwin (Phyllis) Stolzenbach, late Darlene (late Curtis) Biggs, late Harold (late Doris) Stolzenbach and the late Wesley (Dorothy) Stolzenbach. Dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. Perle was born to Eckhard and Lena Stolzenbach in 1937. She graduated high school in 1955 and would be quick to tell you she was the only one of her siblings that graduated. She married her sweetheart Don on 9/12/1959 and was blessed with 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Perle was proud to have served as secretary at Salem Lutheran Church for over 48 years. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and was a member of the Ladies Aid and Altar Guild at Salem. Decorating the church for Christmas was one of her favorite things! She cooked hot lunch with the other Moms during our school years. She also cooked many pots of her famous Sweet and Sour cabbage soup for Lenten dinners and for the homeless fed thru the P.A.D.S mission. She was a dear friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation Thursday, July 7 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 18324 Ashland Avenue, Homewood.
