Patrick R Kluck

Patrick R. Kluck, age 73, of Homewood, IL, passed peacefully, supported and loved by his family, on January 2, 2025.

Born October 11, 1951, he was the beloved son and eldest child of the late Peg and Ray Kluck and dear brother to the late Mike (Chris) Kluck, Sue (Dan) Sanaghan, Tom (Diane) Kluck, Scott (Roberta) Kluck, Dan (Cindy) Kluck, Dave (Renay) Kluck, John (Nancy) Kluck, the late Jimmy Kluck, and Mary Kay (Jack) Hrymak.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Kluck, his three children, Tony (Marielos) Kluck, Lori (Matt Fesko) Kluck, and Adam (Rita) Kluck, along with his seven grandchildren, Ophelia, Quinlan, Corbin, Dash, Elijah, Zoey, and Nora Kluck.

Pat (aka Patrick, aka Gecko, aka Fathur, aka PK), was a true artisan of his craft as a Trim Carpenter and General Contractor, where he spent nearly thirty years of his career, following his time as a Police Officer and Stock Broker. His memory lives on forever through the intricate projects he created for homeowners throughout the greater Chicagoland area.

Pat will always be remembered as an avid golfer, spending many Sunday's of his life at Glenwoodie Golf Club, surrounded by his closest friends. His poetic vocabulary on the golf course will not be soon forgotten.

His zest for life was to be admired, always being the first to make a joke, even if the jokes were often repeated and reused time after time.

His love for his family, and especially for his wife, Sandy, was unwavering, and is what made him truly special and loved by all.

While health issues complicated the final years of his life, he never let it slow him down. Always the life of the party, he continued to connect with family and friends at every opportunity, and leaves behind a void only he could fill.

A funeral service will be held on January 7, 2025 at Tews Ryan Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 3-7pm, with a Mass to follow.
