Patricia J. Walker

Patricia "Pat" Joanne Walker (nee Jaworski) of Homewood, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 15th. She was the beloved wife to the late Billie "Bill" Walker, who preceded her in death in August 2021. Pat was the mother of Jeffery and Bradley (Maria), and grandmother of Elena, Matthew, Lydia and Max.

Pat was a lifelong Homewood resident; all of her life was spent in Homewood and she loved living in the beautiful home that Bill and Pat created. Pat and Bill shared an amazing life together for 61 years. Their marriage was a testament to unwavering commitment and partnership, as they spent their years side by side, inseparable in their love and dedication to one another.

In the years following retirement, Pat and Bill spent their days with their family, friends, and their many pets. Pat devoted as much time as she could to her church, she attended St. John's Lutheran Church on a weekly basis and served as an altar guild member for many years.

Pat loved to spend time with her grandchildren as much as she could; whether it would be sitting for hours at a baseball or softball game or standing around the golf course or fishing pond. She loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. She was a constant presence in her family's lives, never missing a birthday, holiday, or special occasion.

Pat's devotion and love that she shared with her family, pets, and friends will leave a lasting impact on everyone. The legacy she leaves with us will be profound and always remembered.
