OBITUARY

Patricia L. Thomas (née Robinson) was born April 15, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William B. and Dorothy L. Montgomery. She moved to Illinois with her parents and her big brother Vincent when she was very young. She grew up in Inglewood, Illinois. She attended, then graduated from Inglewood High School in 1958. She continued her education with two years of college, majoring in business administration.

Pat married Ronald M. Thomas in 1959 at Aunt Sweety's house. From that union, they had two daughters, Avis and Charrisse. Sadly, Pat and Ronnie separated in 1964 and eventually divorced, but became lifelong friends. After some time, Pat met Theodore Fischer and they had son Bryant. Her last partnership with Robert L. Brooks produced her son Allen.

Pat dedicated her life to Jehovah God at the convention of Jehovah's Witnesses at the Hawthorne Race Track in Cicero in the summer of 1972. She took her stand for Jehovah by ministering to family, friends and people she encountered in field service, because she was so excited to finally learn the truth about God and His purpose for life. She eventually introduced a cousin into the truth who became a baptized Jehovah's Witness, as well as encouraged all of her children to learn about Jehovah through bible study. One daughter is a baptized Jehovah's Witness, and the other is currently studying, again.

Mom supported her family as an executive secretary to the director of marketing at the top advertising agency J. Walter Thompson. She retired from there after 23 years of service.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents William and Dorothy, and her brother Vincent. She leaves her four beloved children to mourn her passing: Avis L. Thomas; Charrisse L. Jackson; Bryant V. Thomas (Linette); and Allen R. Brooks (LisaMarie).

Also missing Pat are her cherished grandchildren: Keith Thomas; Joshua and Jeremy Jackson (the boys); and Jasmynn; five great-grandchildren, her former son-in-law Jeryl Jackson; stepson Hanky Poo, and a host of extended family and friends.

Rest in peace Mom/Drammas.
