Loving mother of the late Robert Pitrowski Jr. and Richard (Katy Pitrowski, Sharyl (Butch) Markiewicz and Scott Pitrowski. Dear sister of Susan (Tom) St. Julien, Sandra (Ed) Gaertner and the late Larry Lincoln. Cherished grandmother of Alexandra (Jordan) Pitrowski, Madison (Jeff) Pitrowski, Reagan Pitrowski, Katherine (Eric) Markiewicz, Elizabeth Markiewicz, Shannon (fiancé Brian) Pitrowski, Scott (Tess) Pitrowski Jr. and Noah Pitrowski. Great grandmother of Graham, Julia and Luca. Dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. Retired Vice-President of Sales at Travel Brokers in Homewood. 1955 graduate of Thornton High School. Nancy's proudest times are with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy was a woman who loved travel, a good book, and always had a sense of the latest fashion trends. She was interested in Asian culture, and loved to rearrange her furniture (usually while drinking a nice glass of scotch). She will be remembered as warm, kind, effervescent, and for playing a mean game of pinochle. She was genuine, honest, true, and thoughtful, never missing a birthday. Her perfect night consisted of a Hallmark movie, potato chips, and a root beer. Her family will remember her every time they spot a cardinal, smell a butter cookie, or drink a malt.  Visitation Sunday December 17, from 1pm until the time of service at 4pm at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18239 Dixie Highway in Homewood.
