Nancy M Antonion

Nancy Antonion, passed peacefully on February 27th at the age of 93 surrounded by loved ones. Born on February 17, 1931, in East Chicago, Indiana, she was the daughter of George and Gail Zaras. Nancy was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Bill Antonion, with whom she first met fatefully at age 10 at a family party and later shared a remarkable 67-year marriage. Nancy was known for her love and devotion to her family, as both a mother and grandmother, and her grace, class, and nurturing were boundless. Her other life passions included gardening, interior design, and being an avid life-long Chicago Cubs fan. She is survived by her four children, Laura, Cindy, and Tony Antonion and Lynne (Michael) Smith; and grandsons, Stephen, Adam, and Mark Glagola. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed and will always be our inspiration. Visitation at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Hwy. Homewood Sunday March 3 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
