Michael James Mckay

Michael James McKay resident of Thornton, IL and Schererville, IN. 11-23-1999 to 1-9-2024. Michael is the beloved son of Daniel and Mary McKay. Dear brother to Daniel and Dominick, leaving behind many aunts, cousins, and friends. Michael's kindness and warmth could fill the room and his eagerness to please others was second to none. Valedictorian of Wolcott school, honors graduate of Mount Carmel high school where he played baseball and soccer, attended school at Arizona State University and was currently attending Purdue University. While attending school, Michael developed a passion for bartending, crafting new cocktails, and if you were able to enjoy his service, that passion was first and foremost. He always wanted to make you laugh and was a light in many people's lives. He will be greatly missed by all he touched.
