Mary Kay Monahan

Mary Kay Monahan nee Schuster, late of Orland Park formerly of Homewood. Beloved wife of Martin John Monahan, Born, August 16, 1939 in Madison, Wisconsin. Passed October 28, 2025, at Smith Crossing, Orland Park, IL Dear mother of Robert (Danette) Monahan and Jean Marie (Charles) Halweg. Cherished grandmother of Cody and Travis Odom, Ryan, Zachary and Rachel Monahan. Great grandmother of Troy Odom and River Odom. Loving sister of Jeanne (Thomas) Hubl. Mary was an Elementary School Teacher in Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois. A Graduate of Edgewood University in Madison, Wisconsin, receiving a B.A. degree in Education. Mary Kay was a Quilter, Doll, Thimble and Spoon collector who also enjoyed boating, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was also a big Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger Fan. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday November 4, 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery at 2705 Regent St. in Madison, Wisconsin from 11:30am until a 12 noon Funeral Service. Entombment next to her husband will follow.
