Mary Kay Frjelich

Mary Kay Frjelich, passed away at age 70 on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. She attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School, before attending Prairie State College, where she became the first graduating class of their nursing program. She was an active member in her community by working at St James Hospital in Chicago Heights taking care of all her patients with the love and attention they needed and deserved. She also worked at Glenwood school for the boys and girls as their school nurse serving faithfully. Despite her hectic schedule, family and friends were her passion and delight. She was able to balance her career as a nurse while taking care of her parents before eventually marrying the love of her life, Joseph Frjelich, in 1987. The couple moved to another house in Glenwood where they continued to live their lives together while raising their three kids. Mary Kay is survived by those three children, Joseph (Kristin) Frjelich, Jonathan Frjelich, and Jeffrey (Sydney) Frjelich. She had four grand-children J.T, Jacob, MyaJo, and Brayden.
