MaryAnne Clairmont (Rubino), 89, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Clairmont, 1988, her parents Daniel and Julia Rubino, sisters Genevieve and Dorothy (late Robert) Corey, son-in-law Ken Rabka, mother-in-law Dorothy (late Delaney) Votaw, Dick (late Gail) Clairmont, sister-in-law Donna Burt, and brother-in-law Douglas Votaw.
MaryAnne leaves behind three loving daughters, Michelle Rabka-Golembieski (Ken), Denise Baumgartner (Ron), and Annette (Dave) Bronson. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Amanda (Rich) Schultz, Andrew Rabka, Alyssa (Jim) Naughton, and Nicholas (Sabrina) Bronson. However, the brightest lights of her life were her three great-granddaughters, Addie Schultz and Keni and Hailey Naughton, all who affectionately called her "Greatie".
MaryAnne is also survived by her brother-in-law David (Gayle) Votaw and sisters-in-law Deborah Moore and Ann Votaw. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews who she had been extremely proud of and has always held close to her heart.
We all have been abundantly blessed to have had this very beautiful, loving, caring, and selfless woman in our lives for such a long time. Our thanks to Cynthia C. of Franciscan Home Health for her loving attention to MaryAnne. Our family would also like to express our profound appreciation to the VITAS Hospice Organization for the wonderful care and love shown to our mom and to our family during the time we needed and relied on them for guidance.

Visitation Wednesday January 28, from 3-7pm at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood. Funeral Thursday with 9:45am prayers at the Funeral Home to Our Lady of the Heights Catholic Church (formerly St. Kieran Church) Mass 10:30am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City.
