Marilyn Schreiber, 87, passed away on March 30. She lived in Homewood, Illinois her entire life. Marilyn was known for her contagious smile and always looking on the bright side of things. Her favorite quote was "When you smile, the whole world smiles with you." Born November 12, 1932, Marilyn worked at the Bank of Homewood and Beverly Bank until retiring in 1990. She was married for 59 years to Rudy Schreiber until 2014. Her children are Joan (Scott) Ziegler and Jim (Karen Klyczek) Schreiber. Her grandchildren are Kyle and Brent Ziegler. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Rudy, sisters Helen Daehn and Eleanor Lang and brother Richard Killmer. Her parents were Amanda and Walter Killmer. Marilyn's children are extremely grateful for the love and support of her many friends, family members and medical team at South Suburban Advocate Healthcare. We can't thank them enough. Marilyn will be buried at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery on Friday April 3. A service of memory will be held at a future date.
