Margaret Street

Margaret Street nee Coutchie, 87, of Flossmoor, Illinois, passed away peacefully on August 23rd, 2025, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She was born on November 9, 1937, in Harvey, Illinois. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Keck, son-in-law Michael Keck, and Steven Street, daughter-in-law, Laverne Street, and by her grandchildren, Dylan Street, Keely Keck, Lindsey Street and Kayla Street, and her beloved cat, Olive. She was preceded in death by Charles F. Street, Jr., her former spouse of 18 years and father of her children.

Margaret was known for her strength and determination. She taught children with learning disabilities for 34 years. She had a passion for gardening and a deep love of cats. She enjoyed long car rides and days spent at the beach. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 30, from 9 am until the time of Service at 11am at The Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood, Illinois.
