Lucille Leader

Lucille Leader nee Sobczak, age 98, of Homewood. U.S. Marine Corps Veteran WW II.  Beloved wife of the late Henry Leader Sr. Loving mother of Paul (Ellen) Leader, Henry (Karen) Leader Jr. and Ed (Sally) Leader. Dear grandmother of Dawn (Mark) Leader-Peloso, Kelly (Dustin) Voris, Emily Leader, Amy Leader, Jeffrey (Nicole) Leader, Elizabeth Leader and Nick (Ryli) Leader. Great-grandmother of Trevor Wright and Piper Voris and great-great-grandmother of 3.  Lifelong member of the St. Joseph Church in Homewood. Lucy was an avid bridge player who  loved to cook and bake and spent many years on Torch Lake in Alden, Michigan. She was a former buyer for the Milliken's Department Store in downtown Traverse City, MI.  Resting at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood on Friday March 19, from 8:30 am until 9:45 am prayers then to St. Joseph Church for a 10:30 am Mass.  Private family Interment will be held at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
