Lois A Smolinski of 86 yrs lived and resided in Sarasota Florida. She was born in Chicago Il and raised her family in Dolton, Il.
She was a beloved wife of the late Ronald J. Smolinski, the mother of three children, Mary Ann Zeilstra, Mary Kay Stirling and John Smolinski.
Lois was a cherished grandmother to the late Roxanne Gniadecki, Theodore Zeilstra, Travis Stirling, Michael Stirling and Elizabeth Stirling. Great grandmother to Magdeline Gniadecki.
She graduated from Aquinas High School in Chicago, Il. She attended Loyola university. In 1956 she joined her late husband in marriage.
While raising her family, she went on to further her education at Thornton Community College, where she obtained her teachers aid degree allowing her to teach at Dirkson Junior High.
In 1985 they relocated to Sarasota Fl. Soon after their move, she completed certification as a CNA working in the health care system until 80 years of age.
Lois was an active parishioner at Incarnation Church which involved being part of the Military Pack and leader of the rosary group. A great group of women who stuck together for years and always gave her love and support.
After retirement she loved to travel, weekly crafts and games with her friends. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Lois was a true warrior and will be dearly missed by everyone who was in her life.
