Lois Ann Hutton

Lois Hutton, 80, of Homewood, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  Lois was a member of St Joseph's Parish in Homewood.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bruce Hutton.  She is also survived by her children Marie (Bill) Kirkpatrick, David (Sue) Hutton, Susan (Tim) McLaughlin and Edward (Pam) Hutton as well as grandchildren Michelle (Teddy), Daniel (Ana), Andrew, Jeremy and Patrick and great-grandchildren Dennis, Everly, Sydney and James and bonus grandchildren Ryan and Will Kirkpatrick and Ryan and Mark McLaughlin She is also survived by a brother Richard (Tracy) Langston and very dear friend Sherry Malum.

She worked for Manny Hoffman State Farm for many years before retiring. She loved doing crossword puzzles and watching old movies and listening to books on tape or soft rock in the car while she and Bruce drove to Michigan or Iowa for a favorite burger or hot dog and even to Gabe's, her favorite breakfast place.  She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family with a large pot of spaghetti sauce cooking and everyone anxiously awaiting dinner.

She was loved and admired by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Kathryn Langston, sister Diane Langston, brother Donald Langston, grandson Christopher Lawson, and son-in-law James Lawson.  Her brother George Langston Jr. passed away on September 18, 2022.
