Lillian Cann (nee Pendrak) passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, in Crown Point, Indiana. Born at home to Polish parents in 1926, she spent much of her life in the south suburbs of Chicago. Devoted wife of 44 years to Robert Cann. Loving mother of Robin (Danny) Bellezzo, Robert (Karen) Cann, Teri Cann, Alan (Beth) Cann, and Rodney Cann who left us in 1997. Beloved grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Leona (Al) Hathaway and 4 sisters who preceded her in death. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends of all ages.
Hers was a life well lived. She has left us a legacy of lessons on how to live kindly, laugh daily, help always, and love one another. She showed us what "selfless" looks like every day. She would tell us that life is meant to be lived. Heaven has received our angel. We will miss her beyond measure.
