Son of the Late Alice and Leo Spain and brother of the late Noel Spain. Brother-in-law of Carol (Bruce) Nelson, Karen (the late Jim) Boedeker and Kathy (Mark) Berkley. Fond nephew, cousin and friend to many. Leo loved his furbabies Layla, Stewie, Hank, Bootsie and Hazel. Graduate of Hillcrest High School and Eastern Illinois University. Avid storyteller and musician with Windy City Irish.
