Reflections of the Life of a Beautiful Woman!

Karla Renee Wright was born on November 8, 1977, to Joe Louis Wright and his beloved wife, Betty Jean Wright. The youngest of her siblings, Karla brought immeasurable joy and laughter into the world from the very beginning. Her bright spirit, infectious laugh, and kind heart had a way of lighting up every room she entered.

Karla faced life's challenges with unwavering grace, strength, and perseverance. Despite enduring many health struggles, she remained a hard worker and a source of encouragement to all around her. Those who knew her best would describe her as a selfless, caring soul who always wanted the best for others, especially her children. She was their greatest cheerleader, motivating them to reach for their dreams and never give up.

Her smile was her gift to the world. Even in moments of deep pain, Karla would flash that beautiful smile so that others could find comfort and joy in her presence. She lived her life putting others before herself, making countless sacrifices so that her children could grow into happy and successful adults.

Karla attended Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School and later Thornridge High School. Due to her health issues, she completed her studies through American Home School, finishing early with determination and drive. She went on to pursue higher education at South Suburban College and later earned her associate's degree from Robert Morris College. Karla built a meaningful career as a Physician Credentialing Specialist – a role she excelled in with professionalism, dedication, and pride.

Among her many cherished roles in life, being a mother was her greatest joy, though she also adored being an aunt and sister. Her family was the center of her world.

Karla's love for Jehovah God was evident to all who knew her. Her faith guided her life, and she symbolized her dedication to Jehovah through baptism on January 13, 1990. Her devotion brought her peace, strength, and hope in all circumstances.

On October 28, 2025, Karla fell asleep in death, surrounded by her loving family. Though her physical presence is deeply missed, her warmth, strength, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Karla was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Joe and Betty Wright. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience in the hearts of those who survive her: her two sons, Kyle L. Meredith and Tyree D. Meredith; her two brothers, Kevin L. Wright and Cornelius W. Wright; her sister, Tetra J. Magee (Jason); her nephews, Javon D.J. Magee and Taylor L.D. Magee; her niece, Mariah Wright; her work family at Alivio Medical Center; her dear friends who stood by her through every season of life, who eagerly await the day she will awaken again from sleep—Acts 24:15.

Karla's love, laughter, and faith touched every life she encountered. Though she rests now, our hope rests on Jehovah Gods promise of a resurrection.
