John F. Cullinan

John F. Cullinan, age 89, long time resident of Homewood, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 16th, 2024. He is survived by his daughter Catherine Irene Sampognaro (Richard Sr.) Also surviving are his grandchildren Heather (Matt), Julie (Bryan), Amy, Richard Jr. (Angela), 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild and 4 nieces and 1 nephew.  He is preceded in death by wife Kathleen, son Ray, his parents Patrick and Della, siblings, Mary (Dudley), Patrick (Liz).

John served in the Korean War from (1957-1959). Retired steel mill worker from Wisconsin Steel Mill. In retired years he worked part time as a custodian at Saint Frances Hospital in Blue Island.

John enjoyed fishing, gambling and spending time with his family, especially his great grandkids and their pets.
