Fond grandfather of Christine (John) Mangano, Michael Sanello, Ann (Mike) Gabelbauer, Michelle (John) Cisneros, Teresa (Mike) Peterlin, Zachary (Cynthia) Mangerson, Kevin Mangerson, Jacob and Kenneth Bartkiewicz. Great Grandfather of Anthony, Nicolas, Olivia, Dominic, Natalia, Anastasia, Sophia, Milana and Lukas. Loving brother of Victor (Georgene) Bartkiewicz, sister of Diane (late Frank) Kete. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Victoria Bartkiewicz. Brother-in-law to the late Marcella (Late John) Szymanski, late Margaret Szymborski, late Esther(late Jack) Smith, late Lucille (late Donald) Dodson, late Sylvester ( Joanne) Simms, Bernadine (late Leonard) Studniarz, late Delphine (late Marvin) Labahn, late Joanne (late William) Concannon, late Edmond (Sandy) Szymborski, late Ronald (Irene) Szymborski, late Thomas (late Roseanne) Szymborski, late Francis (late Richard) Lisac, late Carol Barraia, and Kenneth Szymborski, and many nieces and nephews. Retired employee of U.S Steel, SouthWorks Corporal of the 6th Armored Calvary, U.S. Army Founding member of the band Nu Tones, a South Chicago local wedding band in which he played the accordion. Lifetime member of St. John's Catholic Church Glenwood, Illinois, current member and usher at Our Lady of the Heights, Chicago Heights, Illinois. Member of the Mary Queen of the Knights, Knights of Columbus, past Grand Knight Member of the American Legion Russell Square Post #1006.
