Jean H. Muyskens

Jean H. Muyskens (nee Harmelink), a long-time resident of Homewood, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at the age of 90. She is survived by her children Karen (Tom Ryan), Paul (Holly), Ruth (Philip Postlewaite), and JoAnne; and her grandchildren Nikki (Greg Birdsall), Kate (Ray Hsiao), and Matthew. One grandchild, Jeffrey Ardizzone, predeceased her. Jean was born to the late Simon and Matilda Harmelink in Hospers, Iowa. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Jean enjoyed many years of investing in the stock market and, after her children were raised, working as a real estate agent. She was a devoted wife to the late Reverend Joseph B. Muyskens for sixty-seven years and a caring matriarch to her children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be privately held for her immediate family.
