Jean M. Brand

It is with profound sadness that we announce of the peaceful passing of Jean Marie on
September the 8th in Oak Lawn Illinois. She was born November the 21st 1969 at St. James
Hospital in Chicago Heights Illinois. She was the beloved daughter of David Charles Brand and
Nora Jane (Alquist) Brand.

Jean was a loving daughter, devoted sister, and cherished aunt. She dedicated her life to
loyally serving her family. She attended Thornridge High School and was the graduating class
of 1987. She later attended South Suburban College for general studies. She had been a
dedicated administrator for Larcker Recycling Services in Chicago Illinois at her time of
passing.

Jean was an avid animal lover and always had room for a cat in need. She enjoyed driving hotrods, listening to loud 80's rock, and enjoying sunsets on her father's pontoon in Michigan. Her greatest joy was caring and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

Jean is survived by her father David Charles Brand and brothers Daniel Brand and Mark (Stephanie) Brand,

Nephews,Jordan (Ashley) Brand, Rocco Brand, and Otto Brand. Nieces Jackie (Jen) Brand, Samantha
Brand, Alexis Brand, Carson Brand, Lillian Klapowski, and Jillian Klapowski, Great Nephews
Vance, Levi, Brooks, Cameron, Jeremiah, and K'muari, and Great Niece Ameliah.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved mother Nora Brand, brother David Brand Jr, and
her treasured Shitzu Shorty.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home located at 18230 South Dixie Highway in Homewood IL, 60430. The family welcomes guest to bring a dish to share as we come together to celebrate Jean's life. The
funeral service will be the following day, Tuesday the 19th of September at 11am at the Tews-Ryan
Funeral Home. Jean will be laid to rest alongside her Mother at Homewood Memorial Garden's
Cemetery at 600 Ridge Road, Homewood IL 60430.

"Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than
enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I going to
prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will
always be with me where I am" John 14:1-3

The family is grateful for all the condolences and kind words they've received. Jean will be
deeply missed and fondly remembered.
