James S. Yant

James "Jim" S. Yant, age 72, of Chicago Heights.  U.S. Navy Veteran.  Beloved husband of Susan Yant nee McCollam. Son of the late Fred and Dorothy Yant. Loving father of Matthew (Kamie) Yant, Joanna (Craig) Mullett and Jessica (Jimmy) O'Brien. Cherished grandfather of Jacob and Nathaniel Mullett and Grace and Colm O'Brien. Dear brother of Diana (Don) Wagner, Gayle (Sam) Marquez and Sandy (Don McNish) Stanley. Brother-in-law of Bob (Anne) McCollam and Mary (George) Langheld.  Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jim was the owner/operator of the "The Corner Garage" in Lynwood, IL.  Visitation Wednesday September 1, from 2 pm until the time of service at 5 pm at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood.
