Howard E. Bramschreiber

Howard Bramschreiber, Age 97, long-time resident of Homewood, passed away on December 26, 2022.  He is survived by three children; Bill (Pam) Bramschreiber of Glendora, CA, Tom (Jennifer) Bramschreiber of Lisle, IL, and Debbie (Jeff) Rammel of Port Barrington, IL; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 65-years, Miriam.

Howard was born August 3, 1925, in Milwaukee, WI, son of Ernest and Ella Bramschreiber.  After graduating from Washington High School in Milwaukee (1943), enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, seeing extensive action in The Pacific Theater.  Following his military service, Howard earned a Bachelor of Science degree, in Metallurgical Engineering, from The University of Wisconsin (1951).  Spent his professional career in the steel industry.  Enjoyed watching his childrens' activities, as well as dabbling in the stock market and cooking in retirement.

Special thanks to Franciscan Court Supportive Living, in West Chicago, where he spent his final year relaxing.  Services are private, but memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
