Gregory T. Testroet age 65. Resident of Beecher, IL. Former resident of Country Club Hills, Park Forest and Homewood, IL. Beloved husband of Ligaya Testroet. Loving father of Richard Testroet. Son of the late LaVonne, nee Schluetter, Testroet and Thomas. Brother of Lise' (George) Grafton, Melissa (David) Marsden, Renee' Testroet and Eric and (Rhonda) Testroet. Uncle of Timothy, Benjamin, Colin and Aubrey Testroet, Trevor and Dylan Marsden and Ryan Grafton. Godfather to Benjamin Testroet. Great Uncle to Wesley Testroet. Greg was a dedicated Vice President for Federal Employee Credit Union for 20 years and management employee for both Continental Bank Chicago and HFC years prior. Graduate of Rich Central High School ('75) and completed a bachelor's degree in Finance at Western Illinois University ('79). Greg was a sports enthusiast with his greatest interests being the Chicago Bears, White Sox, Iowa Hawkeyes and Boston Bruins. Greg was a great conversationalist. He loved a good joke and had a contagious laugh. Greg had a passion for anything automotive and performed restoration activities on several collector vehicles, had an extensive and eclectic music library, a gifted photographer, loved astronomy, star gazing, classic movies, family visits and Asian cuisine.
