Gertrude M. Malum

Gertrude M. Malum, 95 of Homewood, passed away on October 25, 2022.   She was born April 13, 1927 to the late A. Frank and Florence Stewart nee (McNamara). Preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Malum Sr.  Fond stepmother of the late  Paul (Sherry)  A. Malum Jr. and the late John  Malum.  Grandmother of the late Susan Cwayna and James (Dawn) Malum,   Great grandchildren  Megan Cwayna, Mathew, Devin, and Benjamin Malum. Dear sister of late brother and wife Gerald (Carolyn Stewart) and sister Barbara (Tom) Windt, both deceased. Loving Aunt of seven nephews, two nieces, eight great nephews and eight great nieces. Dear friend of Joanne Engle, Hazel Zink, Ann Loes and Tony Fier. Gertrude worked for 40 years at Merchandise National Bank and retired as Director of Personnel in 1989. She also was secretary of Board of Managers for over 40 years at Cameo Condos. She volunteered over 1400 hours at Advocate South Suburban Hospital. Visitation Thursday October 27, from 3-7pm at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood.  Funeral Friday 9:15am prayers at the Funeral Home to Infant Jesus of Prague Mass 10am.
