Gerald R. Lee

Gerald R. Lee passed away peacefully, on Thursday, May 2, 2024, surrounded by his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend that will be greatly missed. Gerald was born in Chicago, IL on May 7, 1939, to Sidney and Nancy and lived in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. After attending University of Illinois and Roosevelt University, he started a long career as a psychologist for the state of Illinois. Gerry met Marian (Wenzel) Panagopoulos, married in 1974, and were together for 50 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Howard. He is survived by his wife Marian, son Todd Panagopoulos, daughter-in-law Vivian (Wright) Panagopoulos, grandchildren, Corryn (Fred) Zinski, Craig (Renee) Feigenbaum, Brooke (Taylor) Blake, four great grandchildren, Aubrey Zinski, Kylee Zinski, Charles Feigenbaum, and Benjamin Feigenbaum, and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held in May.
