Frank J. Hartmann, age 97, of Flossmoor. Navy veteran WWII. Beloved husband of the late Emery P. Hartmann nee Tito.  Loving father of Mark (Janette), David (Bernadine), Eric, Ann, and the late Anthony Hartmann.  Dearest grandfather of Erica (Daniel) Bowers, Adam Kaur, Mason (Sherry Nazzaro) Kaur and Christina (Rodney) Parker and great-grandfather of Lily and Dominic. Fond brother of the late Jerry (late Marilyn) Hartmann and Leona Hartmann.  Caring brother-in-law of Anthony (Mary Ann) Tito. Dear uncle of Dennis, Alan, Kris and Phyllis, great-uncle to many. Retired longtime high school teacher for the Chicago Public Schools. Avid reader, gardener, and purveyor of good will. Resting at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood on Wednesday June 1 from 9 until time of prayers at 10:15am.  Funeral Mass 11am at Infant Jesus of Prague Church in Flossmoor.
