Frank V. Amador, age 94, longtime resident of Homewood. Navy Veteran WW II.  Beloved husband of Alice Amador nee Ruggeri. Loving father of Cindy A. Verhoek, Vince (Cate) Amador and Tina Amador. Dear son of the late Frank and Sarah Amador Cherished grandfather of Corey Verhoek, Anthony (Kaitlyn) Amador, John Michael Verhoek, Gabriel Amador, and Eric Verhoek. Great-grandfather of Levi Amador. Dear uncle of Paul and Jim Amador. Retired manager of B-F Goodrich in Chicago Heights after 46 years. Frank was an avid golfer and bowler. Longtime member of Salem Lutheran Church in Homewood. Visitation Tuesday October 5 from 9 – 10:30 am at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood. Funeral 11 am at the Salem Lutheran Church in Homewood.
