Earl M. Jeffrey

Earl Jeffrey passed away unexpectedly at age 81 on September 14th at his family home in Crete, Illinois. Earl was born October 2nd, 1941 and is survived by his beloved wife Sandy (Ullstrom) Jeffrey, son Earl David Jeffrey, daughter Kimberly Ann Jeffrey, brother, William (Joyce) Jeffrey, nieces Karen Jeffrey and Susan Busen, grandnephews Tom (Dayna), Will (Becca) and Dan Busen, three dogs (Sherman, Cooper and Cookie), and numerous friends. Earl was preceded in death by his father Earl Jeffrey, mother Edna Jeffrey, son, Robert Thomas Jeffrey and brother Thomas (Lucille) Jeffrey. Earl was a life-long educator in the Chicago Public School system as a school principal and consultant for the De Paul University School of Education. He was passionate about his role in mentoring teachers and inspiring academic excellence, helping to empower and shape the lives of numerous students across the country. Earl was an avid reader of Civil War history. He loved to travel and hike, spend time with Sandy and his family, play tennis and golf and root for the Cubs.
