Donna Struzynski

Donna Struzynski (nee Komar) age 59 of Beecher and Homewood lost her battle with cancer on May 7. Beloved wife of Richard "Rick" Struzynski. Loving mother  of Anastasia "Stacey" (Brian) Zimmerman and Trenton Struzynski (Imani). Cherished Memaw of Cami Michelle. Loving sister of Cindy (Pam) Komar. She was preceded in death by her parents Jerome " Jerry" and Gertrude "Gert" Komar and her sister Sue (late) Bill Chan. Loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Donna graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1984. She worked alongside her husband Rick and her father at Jerry's Tire and Auto until Jerry's retirement.

Donna was an avid bowler and football fan for Notre Dame and Steelers, not Bears. She traveled to many NFL stadiums with Trenton to see how many they could visit.

For 14 years you would see her at Issac Walton in Homewood coaching girls softball until she became a softball mom to Stacey at Winona State.

She was the life of the party, a good friend and always willing to help anyone, especially kids.
