Donna R. Stickney

Donna Ruth Stickney, nee McCue, passed away October 28, 2024 at the age of 73, surrounded by her adoring family. She was born on March 10,1951 (March the 10th, March the 10th) in New Jersey.

Donna was the devoted wife to Glenn Stickney for 52 years, making their house a cozy home from New Jersey to Michigan, Florida, Colorado, Arizona, Illinois and finally Indiana. They shared many adventures moving across the country but their favorite adventure was parenting a son. Donna was the most loving and doting mother to Jeffrey Stickney and the deeply admired mother-in-law of his wife, Nina. Donna was an affectionate, playful and engaged grandmother to Oliver, Georgia, and Julian. She was the treasured aunt of Michael Newman (wife Brandy) and late Brian Newman, and a great aunt to many. She was the loving mom to many fur babies over the decades, including her pup Macy Moon. Donna will be dearly missed by many friends and her extended family, and will be remembered as one of the sweetest, gentlest, most thoughtful women ever.

In her passing from this life, Donna rejoins her family of origin. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Norman Harry McCue Jr. and Mary Elizabeth McCue (Hallowell) and her loving big sister Pamela Newman. Her legacy of love and devotion to family will be forever cherished.

To honor her memory, visitation and a celebration of life will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 12-3:30 at Tews-Ryan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Catcade , a feline rescue organization that Donna adored.
