On March 29th, 2025, Donald Francis Scott went home to rest with so many of his loved ones in the arms of the Lord. He was born to Mary Ellen and Clyde Scott on April 22, 1941. Don, aka "Beby," was blessed with a loving 34-year relationship with Renee Dinkens. Their adventures were a gift for both of them. Renee took care of Don until the last minute of his life.
He was blessed with one daughter Deanna Marlene Scott and his Grandson, Taylor Scott Mercury. In addition, he has a stepson Greg Trotter, and 3 step grandkids, Coleen, Alicia, and John Donald. Don was from a family of 11 kids. He was the youngest boy of 7 and he had 4 sisters. His youngest sister, Martha is still living. He has many nieces and nephews, cousins, too many to list. He lifted so many people in his life, whether it was family, friends, or his employees. He helped so many learn a work ethic to succeed in life. They have a great deal of respect for him. When Don was young he loved adventures. Flying around the world with a good friend, scuba diving, playing golf, playing cards, and many more. As he got older, he loved sitting around the campfire up north at his rustic cabin with family and friends. He loved being outside so much that he built a porch to sleep on in the summer. Don was a kind, helpful and humble man. The world was a better place with him in it. Rest in peace, Don, you earned it.
