Diana E. Zeglin

Diana Guzman Zeglin passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2024. She was born in Texas and came to the Chicago area as a young child with her father Joe Guzman and mother Dora Escamilla Guzman.

She started as a candy striper for St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island before advancing to an emergency room secretary. She worked nights while she went to school to become a registered nurse. Diana worked at St. Francis for several decades before ending her career as a highly-skilled nurse in the cardiac unit when she retired in 2019.

She loved spending time with her grandson Steven and traveling to Oklahoma to visit her Aunt Susie.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Babick, her grandson Steven, and her brother George Guzman. Her parents Joe and Dora and her son-in-law Jeffrey predeceased her.
