In loving memory of Daniel (Doug) Cresong
July 28th, 1939 – August 14th, 2024
We mourn the loss of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son and friend, whose presence in our lives was a constant source of joy and wisdom. Daniel (Doug) Cresong, filled our days with laughter, sharing stories that brought us closer and lifted our spirits. His strength and perseverance were an inspiration, and his playful heart reminded us all to embrace the simple joys of life.
He was a hardworking man, deeply selfless and kind, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. His love for his family was boundless, and he was deeply cherished and respected by his children and grandchildren, whose lives were brightened by his infectious laughter and warm smile.
In his free time, he found joy in working on cars, listening to country music, watching football and NASCAR races, and spending precious moments with his family. His love for his wife, Helen, was a beautiful testament to a 67-year-long bond, a love story that will forever be cherished.
Daniel Douglas Cresong passed away on August 14th, 2024, at home, surrounded by his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, Helen; his children, Carolyn (Lance), Wesley and Ron; his seven grandchildren: Stacey (Chris), Cassie, Chase, Manda, Shane, Evan and Kelcie; his great grandchildren: Cameron and Amara; his sister: Joyce; nieces and nephews; and his extended family who loved Doug for his kindness and playful heart. Doug was preceded in death by his son Carl, his daughter Connie; his brother: Ed; and his parents: Daniel and Mildred Cresong.
In his final days, he was surrounded by his beloved family, who gathered around his bedside to cherish his stories and share in laughter as he continued to crack his jokes and uplift our spirits. His legacy of kindness, love, laughter, and determination will continue to inspire us all.
