Charles "Roger" Mccoy

Charles "Roger" McCoy, 75 of Homewood, passed away Sunday October 9, with his family by his side. He leaves behind his beloved daughter Katie (Brian) Dieringer, Jay McCoy and Cory McCoy and "that guy" Robbie Gall. Cherished grandfather of Emma and Charley Dieringer. Loving son of the late Avis and Charles McCoy He is survived by his former wives Sue Lively and Terri Youhas. Dear brother of Kerry (Carol) McCoy and uncle of James McCoy and Kristin (Neil) Wahlgren,  great uncle of Audrey, Madison and Faith. Former brother-in-law of Russ Youhas. Roger was an accomplished Homewood Police Officer who dedicated 30 years to the Village of Homewood Police Department. He will be remembered as a kind, quick witted, animal lover who cherished his friends and family. Visitation Friday October 14, from 4pm until the time of Service at 7pm at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood.
