Carlito G. Garcia

Carlito Gatchalian Garcia, 71, of Saint John, Indiana, formerly of Rosario, La Union, Philippines, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Beloved husband of Priscila Biado Garcia. Devoted father of Prelly (Jeff) Dicks, Djhoana (Gilbert) Albay, Reagan (Joyce) Garcia, and Rodolfo (Cherie May) Garcia. Proud and cherished grandfather of Miah, Carlbonn, Arrah, Izza, Pepe, Marco, Megan, Charlie, Jerome, and Jake.

Dear brother of Soling, Fely, and Susan, and was preceded in death by his parents, Maximo Estal Garcia and Alejandra Gatchalian Garcia; his brothers, Ernesto Garcia and Eduardo Garcia; and his sister, Natividad Biado.

Carlito was a treasured friend to many, especially within his rooster-breeding and town-lottery communities, where he formed lifelong friendships. He found great joy in tending his garden, walking his dogs, and, above all, spending precious time with his family. He will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, quiet strength, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy of love, hard work, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Visitation Friday August 7, from 3pm until the time of Service at 7pm at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood.
