Beverly D. Bloom

Beverly Diane Bloom nee Ristenpart, age 63, of Chicago Heights, IL passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Our amazing mother has made her final journey to be with the Lord and her parents following illness and a long battle with cancer. She lived in Steger, and Chicago Heights for most of her life surrounded by the family and friends she loved most. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joan and Verdell Ristenpart.

Beverly is survived by her three dear children; Tabitha, Tyler (Jennifer) and Summer Bloom. Three grandchildren who meant the world to her; Sophia, William and Daniel Bloom. Her three sisters, Carol (Patrick) McCulley, Dawn (Peter) Mitropoulos, and Robbin (LeRoy) Jaworowski. And the sister in our mother's heart, Brenda (Tom) Lane.

Beverly was a loving mother for 35 years, doting Oma for 6 beautiful years, dearest friend for 63 years, and a warrior who survived more battles than anyone will ever know for that is how strong she was. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church for many years and carried the Lord in her heart throughout her life, despite trials and adversities. She was a beautiful soul who shared kindness and warmth to everyone who knew her, and will be missed by so many family and friends, and her dogs. For everyone who was touched by her life, know that she held you near to her heart, and was forever grateful for the moments she shared with all those she loved. Be at peace Mom, we know you are now with your mom and dad, and all of the puppies waiting for you to throw balls for them once more. Until we meet again. We love you always.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home at 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood from 3-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Salem Lutheran Church at 18324 Ashland Ave, Homewood on Friday, January 10th at 11:00 am. All family and friends are welcome to remember and celebrate Beverly's life.
