Betty S. Bose

Betty Bose (nee Stockdale), 94, of Beecher, IL passed away at home on October 11, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill Bose and her children, Lance Wright, Priscilla (Dan) Marshall, and Margo (Michael) Nauert. She treasured being called Maimo by her grandchildren, Steph Marshall, Joe (Kara) Marshall, Alex (Jeanette) Nauert, and Andrea Nauert. Betty devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.

Betty grew up in Cincinnati where she loved spending time with her family and friends. She sang in quartets with her family and studied art. She valued family and the church and surrounded herself with art and music. Later in life, Betty lived primarily in Homewood and Beecher where she was actively involved in her church and spending time with her grandchildren. After all, whenever she was asked, she said all she ever wanted to do was be a grandmother. Betty touched many lives through her generosity, humor, art, and poetry.

A visitation to celebrate life will be held at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home in Homewood, IL on November 18, 2023 at 2:00. At 3:30 there will be a memorial service followed by refreshments at the funeral home. For further information contact tews-ryanfh.com or call 708-798-5300
