Betty J. Barnum nee Darling, age 95, passed away Sunday, July 4 2021 at her home. Beloved wife of the late John L. Barnum, devoted mother to Michael H. (Deborah C.), Rev. Martin J., Douglas J. (Janet L.), Marguerite M. "Peg" ( Dr. James R. ) O'Donnell, Philip T., Daniel F. (Julie A.) and the late John L. "John Boy" Barnum Jr. Loving Nana to 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by several siblings. Resting at the Tews – Ryan Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Hwy. Homewood, IL on Sunday July 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, July 12, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 17951 Dixie Hwy. Homewood, IL. (Please meet at church) . Private interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials in Betty's memory may be made to Lambs Farm of Libertyville.
